About the SABIT Program IT Startups Delegation
Our SABIT (Special American Business Internship Training) program at the U.S. Department of Commerce will bring a delegation of 20 IT startup leaders from several Eurasian countries (Azerbaijan, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Russia, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan) to the U.S. for two weeks this winter. The delegates are primarily founders/CEOs of IT startups and a few are from tech incubators, early-stage investment firms, and IT training organizations. From January 24 – 31, the group will be based in the DC area. They would like to learn about advice for running successful IT startups, how to create an innovation ecosystem, and network with area IT startups, growth-stage IT companies, investors, incubators/accelerators, consultants/lawyers, trainers/training organizations, and other entrepreneurial support organizations.
