Appetite is growing for TechBreakfast, an informal meet-up for startup entrepreneurs and established CEOs, alike.

TechBreakfast, a sort of show-and-tell for tech companies started by Baltimore entrepreneur Ron Schmelzer, has grown from a monthly gathering of a handful friends to free events attended by hundreds of people multiple days a week in cities across the country, including Philadelphia, New York City, Boston and Austin. The organization has a total of almost 4,300 members, with up to 700 showing up at any given event.

“Clearly it’s becoming a community, and our community is technology doers,” Schmelzer said.
